A new multimedia project named World Dai Star has been announced to launch in 2023. The project is centered around the theme of “theater girls” and a teaser visual featuring one of the characters has been released.
More information about World Dai Star project will be available on November 27, 2022 via scheduled YouTube live stream at 7:30 PM JST (5:30 AM EST).
The initial announcement did not reveal the type of media adaptation the project would be involved in (e.g. anime series or film, manga, novels, etc). manga writer Takahiro (Akame ga Kill, Yuki Yuna is the Hero, the Warrior in Chains) is credited with creating the original story. VTuber artist and designer Mika Pikazo is creating original character designs. Pikazo is known for designing VTubers Kaguya Luna and Hakos Baelz.
The special announcement live broadcast program will feature various voice actors who will participate. All may be expected to serve in undisclosed roles. They include Manaka Iwami, Ikumi Hasegawa, Maria Naganawa, Shuka Saito, Reina Condoand Minami Tanaka. Actress Nanako Mori will be the MC for the event.
