Some people have left the White Lotus for good.
That’s right: The opening scene from the October 30 premiere of HBO’s second season White Lotus confirmed that many guests met their maker during their stay in paradise. However, this time, the body count did not include the White Lotus resort manager. (Shout out for Armon season one.)
Episode starts with guest Daphne, played by Brave Type‘s Meghann Fahy, told about his vacation to some of the newcomers to the White Lotus. “You’re going to die,” he said with a smile. “They have to drag you out of here.”
Daphne’s excitement doesn’t last long, as her final dive in the Ionian Sea features an unidentified drowning victim. Even worse, when the police start investigating the scene, Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore), the Sicilian location manager, was told by an employee that “another guest had been killed.”
Of course, just like in season one, we wonder who could fall victim to season two.
