DC’s next superhero movie will star Maridueña as Jaime Reyes, who falls into greatness after returning from college. Jaime is chosen to become a symbiotic host of the Scarab, an alien relic that grants him a powerful exoskeleton. With his new powers, Jaime becomes the titular hero Blue Beetle.
Maridueña is thrilled for audiences to see her new film.
