A new character visual was revealed from next Undead girl murder prank tv animefeaturing werewolf girl Vera (voiced by Yumiri Hanamori). The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2023.
Hanamori joins a main voice cast consisting of Tomoyo Kurosawa like Aya Rindou, Taku Yashiro like Tsugaru Shinuchi, Makoto Koichi like Shizuku Hasei, and Sayumi Suzushiro like Annie Keber.

Mamoru Hatakeyama (Kaguya-sama: Love is war) is the director of the anime, with Noboru Takagi (In/Spectrum) as a series screenwriter, Noriko Itō (Kakegurui xx sub-character designer) as character designer and chief animation director, Naho Kozono (Shine on Bakumatsu Bad Boys sub-character co-designer) as sub-character designer and chief animation director, and yuma yamaguchi as a music composer. Rabbit Track handles animation production for the series.
The anime is an adaptation of Yuugo AosakiThe supernatural novels of the same name, which were first published by Kodansha on December 17, 2015, under its Kodansha Taiga label. Three volumes were released in April 2021. A manga adaptation of Haruka Tomoyama was also published in Monthly Shounen Sirius on June 25, 2016, before being moved to the Comic Days website in 2018. Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English, with three tankoubon volumes released in June 2018.
