With the highly anticipated Greta Gerwig Barbie movie hitting theaters in July, it’s no surprise that the Barbiecore aesthetic is still high on the fashion-lover’s wardrobe. From haute couture designs to athletic wear, there’s a Barbie-inspired outfit or accessory that fits almost any wardrobe. However, some pieces are more traditional “Barbie” than others, like the new Target platform heels that TikTokers claim are Barbie shoes IRL.

The Wild Fable Alessia Platforms comes in three colors, but the metallic black and silver pair didn’t get as much hype as the hot pink hue on social platforms (although they are all cute and would make a great out-of-the-box staple for spring/summer). As soon as the account @targetatme posted about the footwear statement, dubbing them “Barbie heels,” commenters were quick to agree, calling out the shoe’s uncanny resemblance to the famous doll’s iconic peep-toe platform. One TikToker wrote, “All I can think is ‘I’m a Barbie girl,'” while another simply stated, “hello Barbie.”

For those who don’t know, Wild Fable is a clothing and accessories brand owned by Target. The new faux leather platform is available in full and half sizes, ranging from 6 to 12, has a 4.7-inch heel and features an open back design, open rounded toe and curved ankle strap. They also retail for as little as $40 — a steal, according to TikTokers and Target shoppers who compared Alessia’s style to high-end shoes like Versace Medusa Satin Platform Pumps, Charlize Platform Pumps from Steve Madden, and Begonia Pink High-Heeled Satin Sandals from Prada. .

But beyond the Barbie vibes and affordable price tag, shoppers are also raving about the super comfortable wearing of chunky heels, which can likely be accredited with a memory foam insole that contours and cushions your foot for optimal support. “This heel is very comfortable. They are so supportive,” wrote one buyer, while another swore the shoes were “so comfortable I feel I could run 5K in these and be fine. While we don’t recommend hitting the gym in shoes, we recommend stocking up on all three colors—especially if you want to expand your selection of comfortable heels before warmer weather. Shop the metallic and black styles below—and get them before it’s too late. They sell fast!
