Vertical Entertainment released the official Susie Research trailer for his upcoming mystery comedy. The film features Kiersey Clemons as a failing true-crime podcaster who becomes popular after solving a local missing persons case.
The video shows how all is not what it seems regarding Susie de Clemons. In a twist, she might have something to do with the kidnapping of campus idol Jesse. The film is set to arrive in theaters on July 28.

What is Susie Searches about?
“How far will a podcaster go to capture his audience? Susie (Clemons), a goofy college student with a failed true-crime podcast, seizes the opportunity to boost her campus and online popularity by solving the mysterious disappearance of campus heartthrob Jesse (Wolff). With her star rising, events take a dark turn as Susie discovers the truth and soon finds herself in over her head.
Susie Searches is directed by Sophie Kargman from a screenplay written by William Day Frank, based on a story by Kargman. The film stars Kiersey Clemons, Alex Wolff, Jim Gaffigann, Ken Marino, Rachel Sennott, Isaac Powell, Alex Moffat, David Walton, Dolly Wells, Kat Foster, Geoffrey Owens and Jared Gilman.
The film is produced by Adam Mirels, Robbie Mirels and Nicola Smith, with executive production by Clemons, Kargman, Jaimie Fairweather and David B. Newhouse.
