Gaming platform company CTW announced that it is developing a freemium browser game based on the Black Lagoon manga series titled Black Lagoon: Heaven’s Shot. The game will be available worldwide on CTW’s G123 online platform and is now open for pre-registrations. An exact release date for the game has yet to be announced.
Black Lagoon: Heaven’s Shot will be available to download and play on smartphone, PC, and tablet devices. A pre-registration campaign has also been launched and can be done via the official game page, Twitter page, or LINE link.
Depending on the number of new participants, every player will receive special in-game items at the game’s official launch. They may consist of:
- • 10,000 items: 100 Bullets, 200 Gun Oil, 50,000 Dollars
- • 30,000 items: 100,000 energy drink, two high speed exploration tickets, 100,000 dollars
- • 50,000 items: 500 Diamond, 10 recruitment tickets, 200,000 dollars
In addition to playing as the four main characters of Black Lagoon, players can also add Balalaika from Hotel Moscow and Eda from the Church of Violence to their roster and build the teams of their choice.

Moreover, a “character prediction campaign” will run on the game’s official Twitter page for five consecutive weeks. Those who follow the official account and repost the character silhouette posts will be randomly selected to win an Amazon gift card worth 10,000 yen (US$67.70). New characters will be revealed every week at the end of each campaign.
Black Lagoon is based on the 2002 manga series by Rei Hiroe. A 24-episode TV anime series aired April 9, 2006 to December 19, 2006. Another 6-episode OVA series titled Roberta’s Blood Trail was released between 2010 and 2011.
