Otaku Elf unveils new character visual

The lesson Elf Otaku anime, which recently released its eighth episode, received a new character visual featuring Isuzu Koimari and the elf Haila.

Elf Otaku created on April 7 (effectively April 8 at 2:25 a.m. JST) in Japan and airs internationally on Ani One Asia, Bilibili, and HIDIVE. It is an adaptation of Manga series published by Kodansha by Akihiko Higuchiwhich debuted in 2019 and has seven tankoubon volumes as of March 2023.

Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga as follows:

Koganei Koito works as a teenage shrine maiden at Takamimi Shrine, catering to the whims of its resident: a centuries-old elf who loves video games as much as she hates going out! Prepare your offerings for the otaku elf (energy drinks, chips and video games will do) and watch his new friends scramble to keep up!

The anime is directed by Takebumi Anzai (Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu, Pura Ore! Pride of Orange) with Shogo Yasukawa (The executioner and his way of life) as a series composer and screenwriter, Takeshi Oda (Wandering Witch: Elaina’s Journey) as character designer and chief animation director, and Akito Matsuda (touring bike! Euphonium Movie 3: Chikai no final) as a music composer. C2C is the animation production company.

The actors include Yuka Ozaki like Koito Koganei, Friend Koshimizu like Elda, Haruka Send like Koma Sakuraba, Hitomi Sekine like Koyuzu Koganei, Teru Ikuta like Himawari Kohinata, Rie Kugimiya like Yord, Kana Ichinose as Isuzu and Mamiko Noto as Haila.

THE Elf Otaku manga is serialized in Shonen Magazine Edge and published under the Shonen Magazine Edge Comics label.
