Illustrator for the manga adaptation of A punchYusuke Murata, announced on his official Twitter account that his original webcomic by ONE is back with a new chapter on May 13, 2023.
The ONE published Chapter 142 of A punch‘s webcomic after almost 2 long years of hiatus.
The fans are more than excited about this news and praised the new Genos update and the latest chapter.
Some fans had also said that there was a huge improvement in the art style of the webcomic.
Chapter 141 of the webcomic released in July 2021.
One-punch man is a Japanese superhero manga series created by One. One wrote the original manga webcomic in early 2009.
A digital manga remake, illustrated by Yusuke Murata, began publishing on Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump website in June 2012.
As of November 2022, 27 volumes have been released. In North America, Viz Media licensed the remake manga for English-language release and serialized it in its digital magazine Weekly Shonen Jump.
An anime adaptation produced by Madhouse aired in Japan from October to December 2015. A second season, produced by JCStaff, aired from April to July 2019. A third season has been announced.
As of June 2012, the original manga webcomic exceeded 7.9 million hits. As of April 2020, the manga remake had sold over 30 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.
