Though Mariah Carey maybe the Queen of Christmas, that doesn’t mean that she has forgotten about Thanksgiving.
After Martha Stewart expressed concern that the “We Belong Together” singer’s November 1 Christmas kickoff meant he missed turkey day, the Grammy winner promised that wouldn’t happen.
“Dear Martha!! I will never give up on Thanksgiving!!” Mariah tweeted November 3 “But we can still start getting into the celebratory spirit now!”
Mariah, 52, later invited Martha, 81, to her annual dinner at her house, although she noted that the cookbook authors never invited her to the “Thanksgiving extravaganza!”
On November 1, the “All I Want for Christmas Is You” hitmaker shared a video of himself on Instagram dressed as a wizard before transforming into the Santa-inspired suit, which he wore while sitting on a reindeer. He sings “It’s time” as his hit song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” starts playing in the background.
