A new PV trailers has been released for the foreseeable future Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Punch! anime series. Second season of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear series is scheduled for release on April 3, 2023.
The 73-second trailer features main character Yuna meeting new characters throughout season two.
Main voice cast included Maki Kawase as Yuna, Azumi Waki as Fine, Rina Hidaka as Noire Foschurose, and Inori Minase as Shia Foschurose.
The production staff from the first season returned for the second season. That includes Yuu Nobuta as supervising director, Hisashi Ishii as series director, Takashi Aoshima as a series screenwriter, Yuki Nakano as character designer and chief animation director, Mimika Iwa as a color designer, and Shigeo Komori as a music composer. EMT square is handling animation production for the anime once again.
Other staff members included Hariu Katsufumi (Slow Start) as art director and Youichirou Satou (White Album 2) as director of photography.
This anime is based on a light novel written by Kumanano and illustrated by 029. It is published under the label Shufu to Seikatsusha’s PASH Books and has released nineteen volumes as of October 2022, including a short story anthology. Seven Seas Entertainment released the light novel and manga adaptation in English.
The first 12 episodes of the first season Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear aired from October 7, 2020 to December 23, 2020.
Funimation streamed the anime as it aired, before Crunchyroll ported the series to its platform. The synopsis is described as follows:
Yuna is not her usual 15 year old. First, he is very rich playing in the stock market. Second, he’s a recluse obsessed with VRMMO games, and he’s pretty good at them too. His life is pretty much perfect — until one day he wakes up in the game he loves and returns to level one. He had to start over, but this time, he had a powerful bear suit that was guaranteed to take his place!
