Developers who build games under license tend to advertise their authenticity to the source material. And Terravision Games is doing just that with the new Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game a trailer that compares the levels of the game to scenes from the cult classic film released in 1988.

Level at Killer Clown ripped straight from the film like the huge circus tent where the Klowns live and the local police station. The balloon animals that lead the Klown around as well as one of their weapons can also be seen in the video.
The game itself is a bit of a mystery, but it will be an asymmetrical multiplayer game that will pit seven humans against three Klowns in matches on a randomly generated map. As announced during its reveal, it will be released in early 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
