Justice League Returns – But [SPOILER] Seems Still Dead

Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #6 sees the Justice League and Green Lantern Corps return to Earth; However, one hero seems to have been left behind.

Most of the Justice League and Green Lantern Corps returned to Earth in Dark Crisis in Infinite Earths #6; however, the Green Arrow/Oliver Queen was nowhere to be seen.

Dark Crisis in Infinite Earths #6 comes from writer Joshua Williamson, artists Daniel Sampere and Rafa Sandoval, colorist Alejandro Sánchez and letter writer Troy Peteri. In Dark Crisis in Infinite Earths #5, Justice League managed to escape the separate world that Pariah locked up in following the events Justice League #75; However, they quickly find themselves trapped in their enemy’s base of operations while Pariah, alone, leaves and heads to the Hall of Justice with her Dark Army. Before leaving, Pariah also warns the heroes that their existence is tied to the creation of the world she created for them — meaning, if the world dies, so do the heroes.

Dark Crisis #6 Brings Most DC Heroes Home

In Dark Crisis in Infinite Earths #6, Hal Jordan and Barry Allen hatch a plan involving Hal’s Green Lantern ring to get the Justice League and Green Lantern Corps home. When Hal warns that there’s no guarantee that this plan will work and they probably won’t, Oliver replies, “Isn’t that always the case? Every time the Justice League sets out to save the world… ‘don’t know what could happen. the day we fell… you know. I’m the greatest archer in the world… And losing is always a possibility. I know that. But that will never stop me from taking that shot. And not only to save my loved ones, but strangers too. Anyone who needs our help … And I know each of you will do the same. That’s what makes us the Justice League.”

The heroes advance with their plans and return to Earth to join the ongoing fight in the Hall of Justice. Roy Harper and Black Canary find each other in all the chaos; However, Black Canary doesn’t seem to have an answer when Roy asks where Oliver is. Green Arrow is also not seen joining the fight, suggesting that he may not return with anyone else.
