One Piece Film: Red is the 15th film of the One Piece anime by Eiichiro Oda. This film was first announced on November 21, 2021 to coincide with the screening of the 1000th episode of One Piece. The release itself will take place on August 6, 2022 in Japan and September 21, 2022 in Indonesia. This film alone won 141.6 million US dollars as of December 25, 2022, making it the highest-grossing film in Japan in 2022.

One Piece Film: Red tells the story of the main character, Luffy, who comes to Elegia Music Island to see Uta’s performance, whose voice is very beautiful. Uta himself was later discovered to be the son of Shanks, the pirate chief who became Luffy’s inspiration.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a prequel to the anime Jujutsu Kaisen by Gege Akutami. The film, which was produced by the MAPPA studio, was released in Japan on December 24, 2021, but was only shown in Indonesia on March 16, 2022. This film managed to earn more than US$104.1 million and made it the second highest-grossing film in Japan.

Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween is an anime film from the Detective Conan franchise which premiered on April 15, 2022 in Japan. The film’s revenue is estimated at US$73.8 million as of December 25, 2022.

The 25th Detective Conan film itself tells of a bomb threat targeting Japan on Halloween night. Edogawa Conan, the main character, struggles to uncover the facts about who is behind the bomb terrors that took place to save his comrades.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Heroes

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is a Dragon Ball franchise film released in 2022. This film was originally planned to be released on April 22, 2022 in Japan, but had to be postponed to June 11, 2022. However, the audience’s enthusiasm for this film has not diminished. Proven Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero managed to generate more than 17 million US dollars.
