Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 Runtime Sets Franchise Record

The official Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 The runtime has been revealed for Paramount Pictures’ seventh installment of the hit franchise.

What is running Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1?

According to IGN, the Tom Cruise-directed film has a total running time of 2 hours and 36 minutes, making it the longest of any previous Mission: Impossible film to date. It will be nine minutes longer than 2018’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning is split into two parts, with the first arriving on July 12, 2023 and the second film premiering on June 28, 2024.

Both films are directed by Christopher McQuarrie. Joining Tom Cruise and Hayley Atwell in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning brings back franchise alumni Rebecca Ferguson (Doctor Sleep), Simon Pegg (Ready Player One), Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), Vanessa Kirby (Hobbs & Shaw) and Henry Czerny (Ready or not).

Upcoming films will feature Mission: Impossible newcomers Shea Whigham (Joker), Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Avengers: Infinity War) and Esai Morales (La Bamba, Titans), who will replace Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road) for the villain role. Dead Reckoning Part Two will also feature Holt McCallany, Nick Offerman, Janet McTeer and Hannah Waddingham.
