HBO To Develop More ‘GoT’ Spinoffs After ‘House of the Dragon’ Success

HBO looks forward to more work Game of Thrones spin-off following success Dragon House.

Talk to Vulture, HBO’s Casey Bloys and HBO Max shared that while their next project will most likely be the show’s second season, they’ll be developing more spinoffs with George RR Martin when he finds a story he’s “loving.” He continued, β€œI try not to comment too much [on] development, so there’s not much to say, other than when we find a story that makes George happy and we’re happy, we’ll move forward.

When asked about whether HBO would release a spinoff every year, the executive simply said, “Okay, let’s see.” He added, β€œThat would be fun. That would be fun.”

First season finale of Dragon House became HBO’s most-watched season finale since the series ended game of thrones, with “The Black Queen” viewed by a total of 9.3 million people across all platforms during its premiere on Sunday night.

Elsewhere in the entertainment world, Netflix released a teaser for Pale Blue Eyes starring Christian Bale.
