Handyman Saitou New in Another World Trailer, Cast Info Released

Another trailer for Saitou Craftsman in Another World, numbered as the first, has been released. Opening song “kaleidoscope” by Planet of Tears previewed in video along with experience scenes and the titular artisan isekai allies.

More cast members were also revealed. They include Ayaka Oohashi as Mevena, Kouichi Souma as Gibungul, Yumiri Hanamori as Lileeza, Hinata Tadokoro as Geebul, Ruriko Aoki as Franril, and Azusa Tadokoro as Ninia.

Saitou Craftsman in Another World will premiere in January 2023. It is based on the manga series by Kazutomo Ichitomowhich began serialization on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker website in October 2018. It is published under the MFC label and has released seven tankoubon volumes as of July 2022.

The story follows an ordinary handyman named Saitou who is reincarnated into another world. At the beginning of his adventure, he meets a beautiful tsundere warrior; a powerful, but forgetful spellcaster who is also a perverted old man; and a cute, but miserly fairy. Saitou utilizes his artisan skills in this new fantasy world to perform tasks such as opening chests or repairing the armor of his allies. Even though he has no special magical skills, Saitou finds satisfaction in his new life where he is needed and appreciated.

Saitou Craftsman in Another Worldstaff included Toshiyuki Kubooka (Wandering Witch: Elaina’s Journey) as director, Shouji Mashida (Horizon Log story supervisor) as supervisor, Kenta Ihara (Uncle From Another World) as series composer and screenwriter, Youko Tanabe (Tsukimichi: Moonlight Fantasy co-prop designer) as character designer, and Tomotaka Oosumi (Gundam Elementary School World Hero) as a music composer. C2C in charge of animation production.

Meanwhile, the main cast includes Ryuhei Kimura as Saitou, Ai Fairouzo as Rachel, Nao Touyama as Lafanpan, and Choo as Morlock.
