The 39-year-old actor will be taking a break after a promotional tour for Limitless With Chris Hemsworth, his latest National Geographic show.
In the fifth episode of the series, Chris meets with a doctor for a consultation. After undergoing a number of genetic tests, revealed that he had a normal risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease 10 times.

“It was quite a shock because he called me and he told me,” said Chris.

Chris himself also revealed that as long as he knew his grandfather, he often heard his grandfather speak two languages, Dutch and English.
In fact, when speaking, the languages can mix. “I’m not sure he really remembers much more and he jumps in and out of Dutch, which is his native language,” said Chris Hemsworth.
“He will speak (in) Dutch and English and then mixed in and maybe some other new words as well.”

“I wish I had a more intense follow-up because I didn’t really know what to think. I was like, ‘Should I be worried? Is this worrying?” he said.

Quoting from Vanity Fair, Chris said that shooting Limitless made him discover many things.
He said the experience he had during filming, especially when he received a diagnosis, made him think about taking a break from acting. “Doing an episode about death and dealing with your own mortality made me say, ‘Oh my God, I’m not ready to go,'” said the father of three. “I want to sit and be in this space with a greater sense of silence and gratitude,” he added.
Elsa Pataky’s husband said he would complete all matters related to the work contract and planned to take time off. “That really sparked something in me to want to take time off. Now when I finish this tour this week, I’m going to go home and I’m going to have a good time off with the kids, with my wife.” he explained.
