Chinese donghua adaptation of A 5,000 Year Herbivorous Dragon Gets an Unjust Villain has received a new trailer for the upcoming release of the Japanese dub. More voiceover actors were also revealed.
Join Aoi Yuki (Reiko) and Houchuu Ootsuka (Herbivorous dragon) is Yoshino Nanjou as Ryatt, Mariko Miyase as Aliante, and Shuka Saito as a Water Saint.
A 5,000 Year Herbivorous Dragon Gets an Unjust Villain originally running from July to October this year and available on Crunchyroll and Bilibili (the latter was involved in the show’s production). Siwen Liu (Dawang Bu Gaoxing) steer donghua with Wanzi as character designer and LAN STUDIO as an animation production company. Donghua is based on a light novel series written by Kaisei Enomoto and illustrated by Shugaoissued under Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko label.

It A 5,000 Year Herbivorous Dragon Gets an Unjust Villain the light novels began in 2018 and ended in 2019 with three volumes. The series has inspired a manga adaptation published by Square Enix by Kouichi Muro which released its fifth and final tankoubon volume in 2020. The story began as the web novel Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2017.
