The highly anticipated sequel will hit Netflix this week.
Starting Friday, November 4th, the streaming service will add Enola Holmes 2 for available content. It Enola Holmes sequel is once again directed by Emmy and BAFTA winner Harry Bradbeer (flea bag, Killing Eve, Ramy) from a screenplay written by BAFTA re-writer and Tony Award winner Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Aeronauts). The sequel features the return of Millie Bobby Brown as the titular teenage detective, Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, and Susan Wokoma as Edith. Joining them is David Thewlis (Mighty woman), Adeel Akhtar (Sweet tooth), Sharon Duncan-Brewster (sand dunes), Abi Hern (Twilight Zone), Hannah Dodd (Struggle with My Family), Gabriel Tierney (Try hard), and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss.
Fresh from winning her first case, Enola Holmes follows in the footsteps of her famous sister, Sherlock, and opens her own agency—only to discover that life as a hired female detective isn’t that easy. apparently,” reads the synopsis. Resigned to accept the cold realities of adulthood, he’s about to close shop when a cashless matchstick girl offers Enola her first official job: to find her missing sister. But the case turns out to be far more confusing than expected, as Enola is thrown into a dangerous new world — from the sinister London factories and colorful music halls, to the highest echelons of society and 221B Baker Street itself. The sequel was produced by Brown and Paige Brown through their PCMA Productions banner, along with Mary Parent Legendary, Alex Garcia, and Ali Mendes. Executive producers are Bradbeer, Thorne, Michael Dreyer, and Joshua Grode from Legendary. This is a co-production between Legendary and Netflix.
