The Yellowstone prequel series is coming home, as Paramount has revealed that the 1923 Season 1 Blu-ray and DVD release date is set for August 8, 2023. For those looking to watch the series, it will be available digitally starting today, but it will not be available. will not be available in physical version until later this year.
However, no pricing information has been made available at this time, so fans will have to wait for more confirmation on the Yellowstone prequel. Along with the release news, Paramount also confirmed that the 1923 Season 1 Blu-ray and DVD will contain over two hours of bonus content, including:

“1923 focuses on the next two generations of the Dutton family as they struggle to survive historic drought, lawlessness and Prohibition, and an epidemic of cattle rustling; all fought under the cloud of the Montana Great Depression, which predated the nation by nearly a decade,” reads the synopsis.
The Yellowstone prequel is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. Executive producers are Taylor Sheridan, John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari and Ben Richardson.
